yes thats gonna fit and work pci-express is backwards compatible mate.

meaning 3.0 will work in 2.0 and 1.0 :)

Yes. This combination will definitely work. Both of these are compatible. In the description of the motherboard it says "with PCI-Ex16 interface" meaning it will fit any PCI Express x16 3.0 card (or 2.0/1.0) Basically there is no need to worry, Everything is compatible. :-)
