Here's the SSD: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/a-data-internal-hard-drive...

After looking around for the last couple weeks, this is easily the best deal I've found (per GB) on a sub $150 SSD. But is it any good? Anyone have any experience with this drive (or brand), or can tell me if it's a good buy?

A-Data is a good middle-tier memory maker. their SSDs tend to be fairly decent as well, again, middle-tier

840 Evo is probably your best bet.

I agree, but I'm really pushing up against the top of my budget (I've been hoping to find a 180gb SSD ~$100, but no luck so far). Really can't spend more than $130, and I'm wondering if this is the best deal I could hope to find in the $100-130 price range.

Look for the cheapest one then, as a ssd is always better than no ssd.

Exactly, I've been searching for about three weeks for a good deal on an SSD (120-256gbs). But is the A-Data a good value? Could I get a similar SSD for cheaper, or a better model for a similar price? Basically, would you recommend getting the A-Data or waiting for something else?
