So i mentioned this in one of my earlier posts conjoined in the cpu section but this will hopefully be more worthwhile here.

Basically i just need to hear some more peoples opinion or weather or not i should dive in for the 690 or not.

Now i arn't paying full retail price (Im not that retarded) but my buddy is wanting to part ex his with my own.

WHATS ON THE LINE
My Palit GTX 670 (Second hand prices are around 150-200)
£250

To me it seems a worthy upgrade to safeproof for afew years, plus i dont have to mess around with SLI Wiring, if i wanted a second card.

So in your own opinion (Yes im allowing your own opinion on the internet) should i Deal or No deal?, thanks for reading

Oh and another thing will a 690 run on my tx650 psu just find if i try and OC It to 1,000Mhz or not?

yea your psu will hold it. i'd personally not get into the gtx x90 series because of the dual gpu architecture, but some people do like it. better keep your 670 and safe up for the next generation

scott it's fine iv'e know him for a long time he wants rid of it because some games dont use the full 4gb with the duel architecture, and to me it's fine, i trust him and plus it's a brand new card he recently spent a shit ton of money when he rebuilt his pc

true but i probably wont upgrade for a long time after this, as iv'e only been on pc for about a year and abit now, and have always wanted the 690 when the oppertunity arised, and i know the 800 series will be good but i just want something at the moment where it kicks games asses in the teeth more than my 670, plus as i said before i wouldnt upgrade to the 800 series until about a year after it came out (wierd i know)

next gen as in 700 series or 800, because i can easily buy the 700 series but im the sorta person that goes through the current series im at,

:EXAMPLE
iv'e had every samsung galaxy going from the s series and have always bought it 1 year after release, so im forming the same pattern with pc parts.

plus i will say this too it helps me out because i dont trust sites such as ebay, so if i bought a card brand new my 670 would probably lay around for quite some time, so it helps me alot
