That's a good build but I see a 270X, not a 290X? Can you please clarify what you are getting?

A 270X will be the bottleneck in this build. You should be able to play on Ultra settings at 1080P but with no special effects like AA. A 280X would be the sweet spot if you can afford it. Obviously the 290 is the best choice and will future proof you for a while.

Oh, sorry I am mistaken, you are right its a 270x, If I decide to get a 280x what do you recommend?

Well I am from Australia, so I had a quick look at your prices and wow there's a big jump from the 270 to the 280. The cheapest is the MSI 280X at $309. You can't go wrong with any brand, but that's a good card with a good cooler.

I just think the 280X will last you longer than the 270X, so the extra money is worth it.
