Will this graphics card work in my PC?

Just been given a HP Envy 700 for cheap of my brother in law. I would like to swap it's Getforce GTX 660 for A GTX 780, I am a total PC noob and cannot work out if it's compatiable with my iInel Z87 Motherboard?

if the computer can run a 660 it likely can run a 780, but if its an HP computer I wonder if the power supply can handle a 780? Any idea how big the power supply is or how many amps it has on the 12v rail?

I would suggest getting a new powersupply when you go for the 780, and considering your motherboard can support a 660, then more then likely it can also handle a 780 with the only draw back being the power supply might not have enough juice to power a 780. You will need at least a 600W Power Supply, preferably 700W and up.

Just checked and it only has 460 watts, what does upping the power supply involve (sorry for my cluelessness)
