I have an ASUS laptop. The hard drive failed (i have no recovery disks, stupid I know) Either way, i bought a new hard drive and soon will be installing it. However, I now do not have an OS. I know I can use a friend's recovery disks, but I still need a windows 8 key. Is the key built into the system or how can I receive my serial key for windows 8. I had the legal copy that came with the laptop.
