Will my mobo run this GPU?

I have an AsusTek P8H67-MLX, I know it is not PCI-3 but PCI-2. Will it handle an AMD X R9 280X? I mean the slots, somewhere I read this card uses different pins or slots or something... and that some Mobos only support Nvidia or AMD. I obviouslly don't know a lot about hardware so someone please help?

I have a 700watt PSU. Not sure which make but I tried to buy good things back then.

Awesome you helped a lot, so I will purchase the GPU tomorrow or the day after. I read the GPU uses 2 slots though, do you know about this?
