battlefield 4 pc mic not working

i have a razer tiamat 2.2 headset. i've reinstalled and updated directx and updated all drivers. i've gone through every possible setup in playback and recording device options. WTF still not working. it works in other games, splinter cell blacklist, guild wars 2, etc

are you pressing left alt? is the mic symbol by your name showing up? do you have the mic disabled in game?

i integrated my left alt key as toggle prone/crouch, but i see where your going

so the mic does work!!!!! but now i can't hear anyone else, wtf, i see there mic icon light up next to there name when they reply but don't hear them

Check through the different settings tabs in-game, make sure the different VOIP settings you need are enabled.
