I saw an aluminium case at my local shop and it looked amazing but obviously wasn't cheap. So I was just wondering are they a good purchase? Are they better or is it just for looks?

I'm stuck between the 350d from Corsair, Arc Mini R2 from Fractal or something by Lian Li (I'd like to go matx but not one of those little box designs, I guess mid tower would give me more options). Has anyone on here got a Lian Li case and how has it stacked up against other cases?

I've read good reviews of the 350d and Arc Mini R2 but any advice or opinions on those two would be greatly appreciated.

aluminium is just for looks. I have an aluminium case, it didnt cost that much, got it on sale, Superflower something cant remember exact model. really just depends on the individual and what components you want to put into it as to which one is better. and if looks matters that is all personal taste.

I get them because plastic ones break in shipping. Also, i go for performance over looks

As i thought 350d will be the best choice from different sides like quality, cable management and USB 3.0 support.

I've gone for the Silverstone TJ08-E. The 350d is nice but not worth that much money.
