Catalyst radeon driver install package failure

I have just finished building my first desktop pc. I have tried to run the GPU drivers that came with the GPU but they would not run. I downloaded the installer offline but every time I try to install it gives me this message. Application Install: install package failure.

SPECS
CPU: Intel core i5
GPU: AMD Radeon 7870 2gb
OS: windows 8 pro
RAM: 8gb

screenshot the message (there is usually an error code)

Ps make sure you didnt get the "online installer" because then it will connect to internet and download the right driver. and if you dont have the internet connection, it will wig out on you.
