I like the fact that it is a IPS panel and 60hz and the size of it but $170 seems kind of expensive is there anything better either for that price or for cheaper?

Is a IPS panel that much better than a TN? I'm 14 and into pc gaming but I just don't want to throw $170 down the drain.

xD yeah If there are no other draw back I think I might be interested in the smaller one. I wouldn't pay 26 dollars more for 1.5 inches. I just like Widescreens which my acer is not. 26 dollars more can help me get Either the CM Storm Quickfire Rapid or The ATH m50s

Well 145/22 is about 6 dollars. so 6 dollars per inch you would be paying 26 dollars more for something that is only 9. Is there any other 22 inch that is cheaper or better and an IPS panel than that?

ASUS VS247H-P. A little cheaper and a little newer I think. Either way it's a 2ms IPS panel. There is like 5 of them in my house so I have experience with them.

That is really common for LCD screens. The monitor still utilizes IPS.

The bigger and newer one will be better more often than not. Either way you won't be disappointed. ASUS makes some of the best budget monitors around, IMHO.

Yeah the difference is about 2 inches, which to me is kinda big. I prefer 24"~ screens personally. But to each's own I guess.

I'm just here to help people, I don't really care about "solutions" and such. Pick iceclock, he beat me here anyways I think. We are all noobs at one point, and most of us here are here to learn more and help others that might not know. :)
