Bios wont detect Hard Drive

I recently bought a new SSD, a Samsung 840 EVO 500gb, and a new power supply, Rosewill 750 HIVE series. I installed my new PSU, and plugged in my SSD, and now my computer wont cant detect any hard disks, and therefore cant boot. I tried removing my SSD and changing back to my old PSU, but nothing works. It can detect my SSD, but cant boot from it.

  1. Do the HDDs spin up?

    What are their model numbers?

Have you initialized and formatted the disk through Disk Management or DISKPART?
