I am going to make a clean install to a friend and I dont know if I can damage his Pc
I have:
Do clean Install in my hp laptop
Doing hackintosh to a friends Hp laptop ;)
And I am going to do a Pc soon

Here are my friends specs, also what windows should I install?
is there a software to check that his hardware is allright to do a clean install?
THANKS

there is little or no possibility of damaging the computer by doing a clean install.now if you screw it up ie get impatient and abort the install then you will have some problems. looks like you have windows 7 installed now.any reason for an reinstall? windows 7 home premium would be my choice here.

My friend tell me that its very slow and it has alot of virus like when he opens internet he has allot of pop ops windows and he has a software that he cant uninstall

ordinarily a clean install is a last resort in my opinion, but by the sounds of things its the way to go in this instance.after the install, and before connecting to the internet, install antivirus at the least.avast is one of the better ones.you can download it to a usb from another computer for the install. after install let windows completely update before installing programs, games, etc (remember what i said about being patient?).when the options for install come up with win7 choose advanced then do a clean install.
