my motherboard is here:

Could anyone please tell me where it would go? Also I never put the PCI card..I think that's what it's called, but is that important to powering my computer?

1. Those wires you're holding go on the bottom-right part of the motherboard.
2. You should check the motherboard manual under "front panel connections" for which specific ones to install in different parts.
3. What PCI card are you talking about? eg. GPU, Sound card, networking card, etc.

I first have to ask why you are moving an HP MoBo POS out of it's original case...

Secondly, if you look at the documentation you referenced
this image: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf-JAVA/Doc/images/194/c02...

In the lower right you can see the SATA connectors, in between the blue and orange connectors are a pin block. That is where the power button, Power LED, HD activity, and rest leads get connected.... IF they are not labeled, contact HP for more specific information...

Oh wow thanks! I didn't notice that. I'll try that now.

As for moving the HP mobo..I'm strapped for cash so I'm try to get through with what's working. Do you have any motherboards in mind though that are good for $100 or less?

Update: In between those bock are only room for two pins, and I don't see where I could fit the power switch.

This PCI, not sure what it is. Would you happen to know what it is/does? It's connected to my old case and I can't remove it..

Oh ok thanks.

In the pin block, is it alright to pin them in any order? I put the power LED in before and it lit up the power switch, and now that I put the power SW in the lights went off. Nothing works anymore.

Also, sorry for not choosing you as having the best solution. I accidentally hit that button when trying to reply to the other guy.
