Hey guys,

You could say long time listener, first time caller here. I need a new graphics card, and I'm definitely a budget gamer.. I'm maybe looking to spend like 100 or 150 maximum.

Firstly, here are my specs: (I believe also included below)

Operating System
Windows 8 Pro 64-bit
CPU
AMD A6-3620 18 °C (Quad-Core)
Llano 32nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
Acer Aspire M3470G (P0) 33 °C
Graphics
DELL E197FP (1280x1024@75Hz)
512MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6530D
Power Supply
300 W

Ok, so I did a bit of research and I'm thinking of a few candidates:

AMD Radeon HD 7790

AMD Radeon HD 7770

AMD Radeon HD 6670 (I don't know if this is a step high enough :pfff: )

These are just ideas. Suggestions are encouraged. (Very much so!) I know I will need to upgrade my power supply. I just do not want to have to get a new mobo. Will my unit support these cards? How much can my mobo handle? (Power supply and gfx upgrade) Just need a bit of guidance. Please help!

Solution
i would go with the 7790 it only slightly slower then a 7850. also keep an eye out on parts picker for blow out sales. a lot of the older cards have been on fire sales.

The 7790 does seem like a great fit. Around $100 and is a good step up from my current card. The problem is, what will I need to do (if anything) with my current unit to ensure I could use this card? Is it feasible?

Honestly, I don't think so either. Any suggestions to update me from what I currently have? Will it be a super tight squeeze adding my new power supply and gfx card on my current mobo? Any suggestions for a good combo I could use on my setup?
