As a first time PC builder I have no clue how many watts my power supply unit should have. I want to be on the safe side with power.

This is what I am thinking of going with:

Rosewill 550W Gold Certified

This is the rest of my build:

Case: Ultra Defender 2 Black

CPU: Intel i7 4770k

GPU: Asus GTX650 TI-OC 2GB

Motherboard: Asus Z87-A

RAM: 16GB total, 8GB sticks at a time

SSD: Samsung 840 Evo

(any other comments on my build would be greatly appreciated :D )

Thanks!

Solution
the only ref's I get on the video card is 400W or better... I try not to go under 600W for Gaming rigs. no point in building a great system if you heat it up with an under powered PSU...

What do you guys think of the company Thermaltake? I just found this 750W Gold Certified for $75.

Sorry, I probably should have said I am looking at the cost in this. (No more than $100).

Also, if it makes a differences with how I will be using the build: its half and half for demanding software and gaming. Nothing too crazy with gaming, more on the casual side. And I don't plan on doing too much overclocking.

Alright last post, I have to do order one out before the day is over.

So it's down to these:

Corsair 600W (non-modular) Bronze-cert
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028
(although I heard the CX series sucks)

Rosewill 630W non-modular Bronze

Corsair TX650 Bronze cert
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139020

the one sportfreak showed me:
Antec 620W modular bronze cert

Argh there are way too many options, and it only makes it worse that I'm an indecisive person to begin with ha.

I realize though that some titles say "Haswell Certified" or "Haswell Compatible", do I have to look for this as I'm going to be using the 4770k?
