i just have purchase a brand new Seagate Barcuda 2 TB Internal hard Drive From a Retailler Shop in my city.

after purchasing a drive i use it for a month 2 months like 52 day 15 hour (showed by Hard Disk Sentinel).

here is Scan Report please Cheak- C:\Users\AMD\Desktop\Disk report 2013 12 11.html

now the i scan my Disk for problems with Hard Disk Sentinel scan > Report showes me that the Drive Health is 48 % right now. the drive is working right now but taking high load in loading, and the some kind of noise and jerk sound also is coming from my PC Cabinet , so i am scared if somethng wrong with my Hard Disk.:heink:

it safe to that use Hard Drive our i should replace it ? i have around 1600 gb data stored on the drive right now. (of 1845 gb total space)

the drive is under warranty. do the Seagate Company Replace it ? our not
if any one know whats there Replace Ment Policy is ?:??:

Suggest me on this - 1. Keep Using Current hard Drive.
2. our purchase new hard drive.
3. our try to claim Replacment of my current hard Drive ?

Please Kindly Give Any Suggestion our Tip really asking for help Thank You

Solution
Run Seatools diagnostics on it available from Seagate and if it fails it is RMA. I have done RMA with them before using their premium service, basically small fee they send you new drive and a return shipping label to send the broken one back!
seagate rma is to send you a replacement drive of the same size. i would do an advance replacement so you can keep your old drive then do a disk copy. also as the drive two months old talk to the store let them know the drive was bad from day one. they may do an over the counter swap.

i just run the Scan it showing me this - Short DST - FAIL

Your Sea Tools Test Code is : ED67DCEA
Fail Info
Now is a good time to make sure you have a current backup of your important data.

Unfortunately, your Seagate product has failed an important diagnostic test, possibly caused by problem sectors which are difficult to read. Seagate recommends that you run SeaTools for DOS, which has the ability to repair most problem sectors. SeaTools for DOS may be able to save you from the inconvenience and down time of exchanging the drive. For more information on this subject see our online FAQ:

seatools test isn't passing, then get the HDD replaced. Seagate shouldn't have any issues with replacing a HDD that won't pass their own test. ? please Reply
