I will not be overclocking any components at all, I just want a rig that is future-proof for next-gen games that utilize 8 cores.

ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 MoBo
AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz
GeForce GTX 760 4GB 256-bit GDDR5
G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM
LOGISYS Computer AT750BK 750W

This build is just slightly under $800

Will this build be okay for the next-gen games? Is there anything I can change or better/cheaper alternatives? I appreciate any advice or suggestions given. Thanks for your time.

Solution
I don't think your current hardware can push games to 120fps, unless you want to turn down graphics to low of course. Then maybe because
2x 1080p 60hz = 1x 1080p 120hz

The r9 280x is about 50-100 dollars more and I can't afford that unless it drops in price significantly before I buy my rig in the spring. Also, the ram is $10 more than a ddr3 1600. Is it worth getting?

Would it matter any if I would be playing on a 120hz 1920x1080 monitor? I'm getting the 4gb version specifically for that.

Thanks for all the help guys. I've revised my build and I realized that my previous build was not sli/crossfire ready. I've made a build a little under 700 that I plan on crossfiring once I get enough money to buy a second video card.
