Hi, here's my system:

I was wondering if anyone had any tips about overclocking? I haven't rebuilt my computer in ages, and based on some guides that I haven't grokked yet and past experience, I simply fiddle with my memory and cpu timings/clock/multiplier/etc. to an ideal combination that is stable, keeps cool, etc. I recall using Prime95/Memtest a lot for stability checking. Anything else I need to also think about?

Since I haven't overclocked in a long time, I was wondering if there were any new tools, sites, etc. that helps newbie overclockers such as myself. My motherboard supposedly comes with a ton of utilities, and I'm wondering if I should use those (not used to installing 3rd party programs that come with my boards), or stick to the basics.

Finally, anyone have any estimate to how long overclocking their computer to perfection usually takes?

Thanks a lot!

Took me 1 hr to get my 4670k at 4.6 stable. There are some changes to the haswell OC process, namely adaptive mode. This will adapt the voltage that is given to the cpu. I do not suggest to put it to adaptive tho.
