Vsync causes stutters

Hello, I have this problem that when I enable vsync in games, it causes stutter whenever I look in certain objects/direction, But when I put it off the stutter is gone but the screen tears ALOT because I have a 60hz monitor.

Would getting a 120 or 144hz monitor fix this issue?

GTX 770/i5 3570k 4.1GHZ/8gb ripjawz 1600hz

Try running adaptive vsync in nvidia control panel as default setting. I find adaptive vsync from the control panel works better than the build in vsync in games.

But g-sync will fix this problem if you buy a monitor that can do that (when they are out).
