Can someone tell me what does these 3 things mean? In terms of pc games?

1) ambient occlusion
2) MSSA
3) AAA
4) anti-aliasing

Thank you.

1) In computer graphics, ambient occlusion attempts to approximate the way light radiates in real life, especially off what are normally considered non-reflective surfaces.

2) MSAA is a type of anti aliasing

3) AAA commonly stands for authentication, authorization and accounting

4) Anti-aliasing is the technique of minimizing the distortion artifacts known as aliasing when representing a high-resolution image at a lower resolution. Anti-aliasing is used in digital photography, computer graphics, digital audio, and many other applications.

i think hes refering to AAA used in metro 2033/lastlight.
bsaically its advance anti aliasing. that includes ambient occlusion that uses special techniques to reduce blocky edges on things like mesh textures that are semi transparent but in shadow or bright light. especially on wire mesh fences which distort and give unrealistic results if viewed from certain angles.

ambient occlusion is just a method of representing light and shadow to give a more realistic look to 3d environments and the objects in it. it basically increases depth of vision rather than having flat shadows they deepen the further the objects are from the light.
basic image but it gives you all the info you need.

fsaa or basic anti aliasing is done by creating an image x2,x4,x8 times bigger than is displayed on the screen its then compressed in a way that gives the illusion of smoothed edges.

there are different kinds of AA but they all give the same results more or less. smoothed edges

You have 770, so turn those options on. Start low and see if there is a noticable performance hit, if not kick them up a notch and test again. This is a pretty powerful card and unless you are running at really high resolution/multi-monitor they shouldn't impact performance too much and will make the environment look better.
