I know many people will say build a gaming pc
More bang for your buck.
I like the OS X user interface and the design of iMac.
I was planning to build a pc but have space problem
Like I have to break a lot of stuff to get the desktop under my desk and connect it to the monitor.
And there are lot wires which look ugly
I need a machine to game on
Mostly battlefield 4
And do programming and stuff
I need this machine only for 4 years.
My question is I know that gtx 780m on new imac
Plays battlefield 4 on 1440p high at 50fps
But will it be able to play battlefield 5 at respectable quality
I am really inclined towards building a pc
But it takes lots of space and ugly :(
Imac beautiful :)
Please help me solve my dilemma
If you want I can even upload a photo of the desk where I want to set this up
If I a build a pc it will be with gtx780 ti
Pleas help

You can get a beautiful itx chassis that will fit on your desk and that will perform better for cheaper. If you want aluminium the you can buy a lian li case.

The 780m is about as powerful as a desktop GTX 660 or 7870/270x so you're paying way too bloody much for an imac

they dont get hot. The bitfenix itx case is great, comes in multiple colours and MACS ARE ALSO HOT. In my school we only have macs and we are using Airconditioning in the WINTER just cuz of the macs.

PC includes mac because PC stands for personal computer. If by PC you mean Windows (or perhaps linux?) then windows has a far greater range of games available than Mac OS X

Or a beast ??

sorry for the confusion, but my post was about the mac (never own one, always build my own)

im always for custom built, sorry for being biased, its just more practical. And i wont buy mac esp for gaming, sure it looks nice and performs nice. but you can build a better one, albeit with more bulk.
way overpriced, and the upgrades are limited compared to custom built ones.

and besides, choosing parts and building it is half the fun. plus you can add more things if you want to, leds, nice fans, fan controller, case mods, liquid cooling, etc

I have decided to build a gaming pc and also make it hackintosh
Are these specs good for ultra battlefield 4
2*4gb ram - ₹5800
• intel i5-4670k - ₹16749
• gigabyte-ga-Z87X-UD3H- ₹20000
• crosair tx750m - ₹12000
• 1tb internal hardisk - ₹4500
• 128gb ssd samsung pro - ₹10000
• cooler master hyper212X- ₹2799
Gpu - gtx 780
Do u know a good case and monitor 1080p 120hz ??
As I have heard the ips is not available in 120hz in 1440p
Thanks.

You want a higher res with a setup like that.

To my knowledge, the only IPS 120Hz 1440p display is the stupidly expensive Overlord Tempest. You can get a Qnix/X-Star which is PLS, 1440p and 96Hz, or 120Hz if you get a good one. I've had two and they both do 120Hz no problem so chances seem high.
