So I have been up sine 10 last night putting this together, I might be a little tired. I put everything together, connected all the power cables (except one who could be the culprit, I just had no idea where it might go. Might just be a different kind of power supply.) When I press power everything lights up, cpu fan, graphics card pci is green lit, I hear the MB beep. Yet I see nothing on the monitor. It's not the monitor or hdmi cable, I checked. Please help.

Ok, so it might be the brass connectors. The case only came with 3 and its has the 9 things to hold it the MB in place, I only saw 3 of the brass things so I figured it wasn't necessary. Could this be it? It still makes a beep when press the power button...
It's probably not the thermal paste.
Some people put everything together outside the case(where it's easy to assemble) to verify that everything works.

Ok, some success. I plugged in the dvi (in addition to the hdmi) and it started working! Which is good, but still I want to be able to use the hdmi port obviously. Any suggestions on my best course of action moving forward? Keeps getting weirder...
Wow....I must ask you all for forgiveness, for I am dumb. Switched my monitors display from dvi...to hdmi. That was it. Wow. On a positive note thanks for all the advice guys! Now to figure out what this " reboot and select proper driver" puzzle means....
