I have asus P5G41C-M LX mother board with 2 x DIMM, Max. 8 GB, DDR3 1333(O.C.)/1066/800 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory & intel(R)Core(TM)2 CPU 4400@ 2GHz processor. Can I install 2GB DDR3 1333 RAM in my pc without overclocking, will it work smoothly?

DDR3 1333 RAM will operate at 1066 without any issues.
This should just happen at default BIOS settings.
The only thing you have to watch is if you are pairing a new RAM stick with an old RAM stick.
If so, there could be compatibility issues.
If you are just replacing the RAM it will be fine.
The dark coloured RAM slots are for DDR3 on your motherboard.
