Gtx 760 desktop vs hd8970m laptop

How would a Gtx 760 desktop compare against a hd8970m laptop in msi gx60 because I heard that there is a bottleneck. Please help do some research because I'm not any good at it. Thanks

According to some benchmark it has nearly double the performance in fps. I'm not sure about gpuboss because I heard they only do direct comparison only and not real world performance. Sorry if I'm wrong and thanks for replying quickly.

it's not easy to compare them, mostly because you can't really find a even playing field for them (you can;t plug the mobile card on pci ex and you can't put 1155 socket cpu-s in laptops) so in games where the cpu matters, the mobile is crippled by default. the "specs" look about the same so i would say if you want mobility the 8970m is one of the best mobile graphics you can get.

I mostly stay home in my state for 10-11 months so I do not need portability the 760 would be a lot cheaper because I already have a setup and a Nvidia shield but which one would get better fps in games and benchmarks.
