Gigabyte Motherboard Z77X-UD5H failing to boot, getting a rapid succession of beeps before shutdown.
Using OCZ 850W PSU (OCZGXS850) with both connections put in properly, and only connected to motherboard.

Any ideas? The PSU was working just fine in old computer an hour ago.
Thanks!

Your z77x-ud5h board should have a debug LED display located in the corner of the MB near the memory sticks.

Look at what error is displayed on the LED and go to t he debug LED code section of the MB manual. This should get the problem figured out.

I believe that you need to have a cpu fan connected to the MB cpu fan header for the board to boot up. This might be your issue.

There's no grouping at all, a constant beep beep beep beep beep etc. until it shuts itself back down about 15s later. Iread that might be a power supply issue, but as I said, it was working fine just hours before.
