amd radeon HD 6470m ...[not visible in Device manager]

i have a lap with following specs,

Intel core i5@2.30GHZ
OS:Windows ultimate 64bit
Intel HD graphics family and
AMD RADEON 6470m grapgics card,

problem is,when i newely install amd catalyst manager ,,AMD graphics is visible in Device Manager under Display Adapters,,but as soon as i shutdown and power on my laptop,AMD grahics is not visible under Display Adapters in Device Manager,and not able to play high graphics games,AMD is not automatically enabled when high graphics games are runned,,,pls help

I have laptop hp pavilion g6 1229ej
With two graphic cards and the problem is that my hard drive have broken and i bought a new one installed new windows all drivers that i need and amd driver showed me that he cannot find my hardware ok i thought to delete the driver and after i did it i cant install driver again he show me message about "install package failure" i read a lot of forums and it doesnt help me at all. Please help!
