So purchased my first gaming rig that my friend is helping me build, and have a really simple question. After opening my power supply (ocz 500w) we realized they left out the sata cable on accident, which is very annoying. I've contacted customer services and I'm sure ill have one sent to me but I really don't want to have to wait 3-5 more business days to get started! Can I go to bestbuy and buy one or are mixing sata cables from different companies a big no no?
PSU didn't come with sata cable :(

The sata end of the power cable are the same on all psu but the end that plugs into the psu are different from brand to brand. So it's not easy to find in retail stores.

For a short term solution, just use a Molex to SATA adaptor (assuming you have plenty of spare Molex)
