Since 4-5 days ago, my ping in online games such as Warthunder and Battlefield 3 permanently skyrocketed from 23 (on local servers) to 250+ (on local servers) I'm using a lan cable.

I don't know if someone changed something inside of my modum.
My provider: Simpel.

Any help is appreciated

EDIT: people seem to have been ignoring this thread
My ping didn't just ''jump'' it's stuck on 300+ ping
It did however jump back to 21 for 10 seconds so it could jsut be some random obese guy downloading porn with my internet

Solution
Contact your ISP to see if there is a network problem. You can also try powering down your modem and router and letting them re-initialize to see if that helps on your end.

This sounds more like an issue on the ISP side of things rather than your components.

Good luck!

Why don't you do a ping comparison test?

Ping the servers
Ping your gateway
Ping www.google.com

Make sure all pings are in separate windows with -t at the end, to run a 'continuous ping'.

From this info, you can determine at least where the issue lies. If both Google & the servers have high pings, but the gateway (your router) does not, then it's likely an ISP issue, but not definitely.
