Hello, and I apologize beforehand if there are already a thread addressing this problem, but so far, I cant seem to find any that solve my specific problem.

Some quick tech:
Intel Core i5 3570K
ASRock Z77 Pro3

Abit background:
Went about formatting my pc for cleanup.
Installed windows 7 64bit.
Went ahead and installed all windows updates, and important drivers "displayed yellow in device manager".
After that, Id go ahead and got the latest BIOS v.
Brand American Megatrends Inc.
Version P2.10

My problem is, that I cant install drivers relevant to my graphic card, which is an XFX radeon hd 7870.

What my PC is detecting is:
Standard Monitor (1680x1050@1Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 4000 (ASRock)
16MB ATI Standard VGA Graphics Adapter (XFX Pine Group)

So far I have tried to disable the graphic drivers in device manager, followed by shutting pc down, cut power, and take out the graphic card and plug it in again.. Some1 said that would maybe work.
But I am honestly out of ideas.

Could the bios be the problem? Could I have installed it wrong?
Should I try reset the bios and start over?

Thx beforehand, cheers_Fubull

That is because the i5 3570K has the igpu built into the CPU. Have you downloaded the latest drivers from AMD and tried to install them? If so and it gave you a error what was the error?

Yes, an error will occour, but no message is given.
This is what happen:

After I install the driver package from catalyst (amd), and I restart, windows wont load completely, and im stuck at loading screen.
If I then reboot and run in safemode, I can get ind, and then I uninstalled the Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver.
But then, in device manager, it says that there is no "video controller" driver installed. If I let windows find and driver for me then, it will simply install Intel HD Graphics 4000 again, and im stuck at the beginning.

When I go to BIOS, I can go into "northbrigde folder" (intel stuff), and select primary grafic device or something.
There I can select 3 options: PCI, PCI-express i think, and the other is "intergrated".

The option is by default in "PCI-express"

The first time id setup the PC, it was with the standard BIOS version, which I didn't touched. All driver installation went smooth and other things and so forth.

This second time i setup the PC, id installed BIOS as the first thing after format, windows, and windows updates.
Followed instructions with precision etc.
It just sounds weird that the BIOS could make this hazzle, or maybe it is because i installed it wrong, if so, howe can I be sure of that?

cheers.

Hmmm,

Sounds like your video option is set correctly. I don't know anything about your particular BIOS or board so I am sorry I can't be more help.

I did find this, but I think it is from an older BIOS version but maybe it'll help:
"1. i disabled the onboard gpu by disabling the "igpu multi monitor" setting. it's under Advanced\North Bridge configuration
2. im running bios P1.3"

Wish I could be of more help.

Thread update

My pc is working, I did format the whole thing, and reinstalled windows again.
My computer is running smooth with both Intel and AMD graphic drivers.

I have downgraded the BIOS before the format, from 2.10, too 1.90.
Not sure what did the trick, but computer is running now.

Thx for the replies.

Over and out.:)
