Hi!

A newbie in overclocking/benchmarking here, and I am planning on benchmarking my new pc at stock settings and then at overclocked settings. I have watched videos on how to benchmark OCed CPU/GPU. But I haven't seen any good step by step guide on how to benchmark at stock settings.

With that said, I wanted to know if I am going to benchmark in stock settings (both CPU and GPU) should I also make the voltage control settings to manual? I am asking this because based on what I watched, they said to put the voltage control to Manual when doing benchmarks especially in prime95 because it tends to go beyond the specific voltage when you are using it with your voltage control in adaptive mode. Right now, the voltage in my mobo settings is set to auto.

A little help will be appreciated...

Here's the specs of my system:

Intel i5 4670k
Corsair h100i
G.Skill 8GB 1600Mhz CL9
(As of right now, I don't have yet my Video card)
Corsair HX750
Asus z87- Plus
