I am putting the final touches on my first built computer and hooked the graphics card up (Diamond Radeon HD 7970). Motherboard installation was cake however when plugging the power cords into it I noticed a 6pin and 8pin connection. The 6pin (i plugged pci-e) and the 8pin (i plugged pci-e with a 2pin jumper thats attached to it to fit all 8) not sure if that is correct and dont wanna blow my card up.
My question, is this the correct configuration to power my card or am I missing something?
