I have a corsair tx650 that I believe is going bad. I originally had my cpu overclocked. I'm using Asus ai suit and just updated to windows 8.1 if that matters at all. I was receiving warnings out of the blue that it was unable to maintain 3.3v. Which inevitably ended up in it shutting itself down. I brought the cpu back to stock to see it it would help, and nothing changed. Crashed again and received a warning saying that Asus had shut down computer because it had felt a surge from power supply. So I'm thinking the power supply definitely needs to be replaced. I have not tried anything more because I'm afraid of damaging my components.

Anyway, back to topic. I'm looking to buy a power supply that is future proof (even though anything computer related hardly is) and is also quiet. I've been looking at the seasonic platinum 860, corsair rm 850, and corsair hx850. I've heard good things about the rm. My only reservation, and it sounds stupid, is I have a all blue color build and was hoping to get something that would blend in nicely. Unlike my tx650! Haha

I'm looking for your guys opinion on the best bang for the buck. I'm not against spending a little more if it's really worth it.

My system specs are:
Motherboard:Asus lga1155
Gpu: gtx 680 (possibly upgrading to a 780 slI or 290sli)
Cpu: I5 3570k at 4.7ghz
Ssd for boot drive and wd black 1tb for storage

Thank you guys for all your help.
