Ive heard that using fraps to record takes a serious hit on fps, is there a way to only use the fps counter and not record on fraps? Or will using the fps counter also lower my fps? Thanks
Just running Fraps for FPS in the background will still use some clock cycles. But not enough to cause much difference with a modern CPU/GPU. It may drop the framerate by few FPS.
