I was hoping I could get some help with my ssd, the boot time although significantly better than with my hdd, has slowed down alot. My specs are:

i7 3770k, samsung 840evo 250gb, 16gb ddr3, gtx 770, and gigabyte z68 motherboard, windows 7 64bit

I am currently using my old hdd as my secondary harddrive and external Toshiba hdd as well. Boot times used to be fast but they have been slowing down to it taking around 1 min total. My ssd is using ahci and sata 3 and everything is optimized using samsung magician software. I have quickboot enabled on my bios which did not speed things up and i have disabled many programs that were starting at boot.

I think I can still try updating my bios and ahci driver, and i may have a program which is starting up from my hdd which is slowing me down. I still have my windows installed on my old hdd so perhaps i need to get rid of that but otherwise if anyone has any answers I would love to hear them.

I do not believe so, how would I go about installing that? anything I need to change in Bios prior to installation?
