Normal benchmark results for Seagate 600 ST240?

I just migrated my OS to my SSD, but I'm new to SSDs and I want to make sure it's set up properly.

Here's my benchmark:

It says AHCI is working and it's aligned, and I previously checked that TRIM is on and defragging is off. Are these speeds around what I should be getting?

Not a lot of AS SSD benchmarks out there on that drive, but the ones I found were not quite as good as what you got. I think that you are good.

What motherboard and which port are you using -- a native Intel or a Marvell?

Oh, forgot to mention. Mobo doesn't have SATA 3 ports (Asus P6T SE), so I'm using this controller card: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815124130

Looks like it is working fine. Your sequential write is a touch lower than what I've seen, but your sequential read and 4K read and write are well better than the reviews that I dug up. I would be pleased and get to using it.
