Upgrade concerns, care to help me choose?

Hey, guys.

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU/Mobo, and I have it narrowed it down to two real options for combos.

AMD:

Intel:

If you guys have one combo that you think is better, or you have any other combos that you think I ought to check out, please let me know!

Can't go wrong either way.

The Intel version gives you better performance in games, due to the better per core performance.

But if you are doing a lot of multithreaded things such as 3d rendering, then the AMD is better.
It still provides good performance in games.

honestly myself i would go amd as it is as good in some games while not as good in others but in nearly every other task is is better i.e multithreading.
