what ram for my build?

hey everyone i am building a budget gaming pc. as of right now specs are
amd fx 6350
asus m5a97 r2
msi r9 270x
samsung ssd 840 pro 128gb
500gb hdd
dvd drive
most likely corsair rm series 650w

i am looking at an 8gb kit 2X4gb 1600. will that work with my specs? and as for company does it matter much? i just want to make sure everything matches up most importantly, thank you!

A 2x4gb 1600 kit would be about perfect with your build. Find something with a CL of 9 at the highest, and something that runs that speed @ 1.5v (do not get a 1.65v 1600 MHz kit as there is no need for that voltage to run that speed). CL 9 kits shouldn't be much if any more than cl 11 or 10 and will actually improve performance a bit. Brand isn't a huge deal but I would stick with gskill/corsair/kingston
