Hi there everybody! First time posting here.

You techwizards are awesome (I'm not too techsavy) so I'd like to hear if you can help me out.

So I got this old, old rig:

Motherboard: MSI MS7366 v. 2.2
CPU: Intel CoreDuo 2,4 GHz
GPU: nVidia 8600 GT
PSU: 350 W
RAM: 2x1GB
Windows Vista

Anyhoo, I recently looked into OC'ing it a bit, since I won't have money for a new rig just yet.

The original BIOS didn't allow CPU OC'ing since the BIOS menu was very restricted, so I looked up the latest BIOS for the same motherboard here:

I successfully made a bootable USB and followed the proper instructions as shown in this video:
VIDEOLINK

The BIOS was flashed properly, and after rebooting the system and I went to 'Loading Optimized Default'.
The system rebooted as expected, but the initial 'motherboard image' before windows is supposed to reboot doesn't change and will remain like this:

Now I can enter the BIOS by pressing DEL when the 'motherboard image' comes up, but I really don't know what to do from here.
I've tried changing the booting sequence, but that hasn't helped and also I'm not sure how the ideal booting sequence should be.
I've also read that choosing 'Loading Optimized Default' can reset the way the harddisks are connected, and they're now in IDE, but I don't know if they were set in RAID before that or even how I should set up the harddisks if I were to set them up in RAID.

As you can see from the picture, I can also press TAB to 'switch to POST' which I presume is basically booting up WINDOWS from the harddisk Windows is on, but all I get is this:

After this the computer just stays like this and won't react to anything I press unless it's the POWER OFF button on my computer.

I'd like to know what you guys think I can do from now? I have the ability to retrieve my data from the two harddisks in my rig, in case that would be necessary, so you can advise me to do that if you think I need to do that.
Also I've already tried removing the CMOS battery, reversing it for min. 5 seconds, and putting it back in, but that also didn't help since it doesn't go back to the original BIOS (which I sadly didn't know I could have made a backup of before I did this) but the MSI Motherboard site does have ALL versions of the BIOS, but I've not been able to do a new BIOS flash with the older version of the BIOS, since I can't get anything to boot after the last image.

So can you guys help me?

All the best
Mattia

Did just as you said. Same thing happens, now the last screen only looks like this: (I didn't unplug the front USB panel since there's also some AUX, Firewire and such and all the cables from that panel go many places in the motherboard.

Still won't do anything. And even though I've removed all the cables, the screen still notices the USB hub, so I must assume it's also noticing the BACK part of the Motherboard itself with it's 4 USB entrances.

Also I've tried switching and putting back the CMOS jumper after 5 seconds now that I've found it, and it does make a slight difference.
The system notices the change and asks whether to access the BIOS setup (F1) or to continue regardless (F2).
I can press F1 and it goes to the BIOS, but pressing F2 does absolutely nothing... Does this point toward anything? The board is simply not booting past the MOBO screen/BIOS.

1) pull the power plug
2) pull out the watch battery for CMOS
3) wait 10 MINUTES
4) put back in watch battery
5) PLUG in Power
6) power on and insert in DVD a Linux Boot Disk, like UBUNTU and see if you can boot from that (F12 I think your screen shows to SELECT boot disk).
7) If that boots but not your disks, then it is the settings in BIOS. If your lost on the BIOS settings then you would need a profesttional to look at it, as the settings are for Moderate Level Technical people. You should be able to boot UNLES there was a RAID and now you potentially broke the raid some how (yes and lost everything).
8) If the UBUNTU worked, then you should be able to make a boot USB/DVD from the Manufacturer site (do some searches) and try to boot from that and put it back to factory.

Otherwise I am of the mind you bricked your Mobo, which means a new one (i.e. the BIOS can't run the I/O properly and you can't revert the BIOS).

Splendid

The USB ports will be be listed with the HDD. There is still a USD device connected somewhere on your computer.
Do you have a USB wireless mouse or keyboard? If yes then remove the USB receiver.
If not, then there is still a USB device connect somewhere on your computer.
Try to find it and then unplug it. If not, then post the picture for the front of your case and inside, and maybe we can tell what it is.
