Crysis 3 back button not working

I have successfully installed Crysis 3 and i m working in windows 8.1 . The game start up is fine but when i get into options or any other menu, i m unable to use back button. i hv tried Esc key, clicked the back option in bottom left corner a thousand times, but nothing works. please help me out of this trouble.

I am also having this same problem.... This is really annoying. I tried all the compatibility settings but none of them worked for me. Any body out there knows how to rebind the "go back" function to another key ? I might as well give it a shot ....

seriously if this is win 8.1 ...m definitely not recommending it to anyone -_-

Which one ? I already got the v2 fix which had the boss fight fixed ... I think this is more of an OS issue... am on latest win 8.1 build nov2013

I finished the game last time on win 7 though...

Its strange becoz not only does the ESC key not functioning but I cant even use mouse click to go back.... I can see that the click is registering ( the back button flashes when clicked) but nothing happens after that....

Any way to rebind that function to any other key ?? possible cvars to add to the config file ??

This is not a online support forum waiting for your issue. Do no keep 'bumping' the thread so you can get a answer.

The answer is GO TO the makers of Crysis website and look at the forums there. As for rebinding, if this was on DVD, there is a INSTRUCTION MANUAL that came with it. If this was downloaded, there is a README file in the directory where you installed it. I would suggest all three solutions.

As for your assumption that while this worked on a Win7 system, but not on a Win8, you also indicated this was the ONLY program/game having this issue. If the OS is having a problem, then ALL programs/Games would have the SAME problem. Just like if your actual ESC key was broken (say ripped out) that would affect ANY program you use, not just ONE.

Did you find a solution coz i recentlyinstalled it and shiwing same problem with my withdows 8.1

I installed crysis 3 in windows 8.1 and I have the same problem . I was unable to use the back button . But then , I downgraded to windows 8 Pro and install the crysis 3 again . the problem is solved . I can use the back button now :D
