I have just been stung at an auction with this monitor
HP 2010i LCD 21" monitor.
when the power is on, the power light comes on (lights up blue) for about 7 seconds before a clciking noise and then it goes off. It will then come straight back on after 4 or 5 seconds then repeats.
The screen does not come on at all, not even flickering.
I have opend up the casing and removed all the casing and removed all the PCBs but I cant see any evidence that the capicitors are blown. There is no signs of corrosion or buldging on any of the capicitors.
One of the cables that connects the power board to the LCd itself has broken , but the same issue happens when the LCD is completley unplugged.
Any suggestions as to what it could be ?. or where the best place to source the whole power supply pcb ?
