So I'm planning to upgrade a Radeon HD 5770 to replace the built in graphics of my A8-5500 and I just wanted to know of any bottlenecks in either direction

Full Specs:
CPU: A8-5500 APU
GPU: Radeon HD 7560D (Part of APU)
RAM: Single stick of 8GB DDR3 1600
HDD: 1.5 TB 7,200 RPM Seagate drive

Solution

mantle is got alot of potential

7770 69 after rebate

41 frames instead of 29...

500w psu

7770-7790 would be better since i believe mantle will be released for 7 series which improves game performance the older series will not get this performance boost

Well I have serious doubts with mantle seeing how not many games seem to be supporting it, and the Radeon HD 5770 is only 70 USD on the site I'm buying it off

main point gcn is better then the old tech hence why the frames are so poor in the older tech either way if your unsure you can get a 7770 at the very least incase mantle comes up least you would get some benefit if it does go along all platforms
