I have the H100i and the fans are making weird noises so I am going to replace them.

I am looking at the GT A-14, NF F12 and the Cougar Vortex. Suggestions and comments are welcome.
My number one priority is silence.

My budget is 30 but willing to go to 40 if the there is a large improvement.

Thanks

they're both near silent... at the same speed the NF F12 might be SLIGHTLY quieter (honestly you shouldn't hear either of them at all)

Can the NF F12 be used in push only?

yes of course. the H100i is slightly on the thick side, but it's not so thick that a good fan like the NF F12 can't push air through it.

I would try push only and check the temperature using a program like real temp or hwmonitor. if you're not happy with the temperatures you're getting, get a 2nd fan for push-pull

get the 1800 version in that case (they come in many different versions named by max rpm). 1800 rpm should be just barely audible, and all the fans have PWM so they can slowed down and only speed up when needed
