I just bought AMD A8-6600k APU and I was wondering what's the best move to boost the performance of my new computer. I have tried playing Hitman Absolution and Metro Last light and it's working fine with Normal settings.

I need your suggestions on what hardwares to upgrade without changing my APU. Thanks!

Current Specs:

*AMD A8-6600k (3.9 Ghz base and 4.2 Ghz boost) it's an APU so obviously it has a on board graphics something.
*4 Gb Kingstom RAM 1600 Mhz
*1 TB Seagate HDD
*Windows 7 32 bit
*No video card installed just yet.

I would like to maximize my gaming with this APU. It would be such a waste if I would replace it.

By the way, some people say that it is possible to crossfire this APU with Radeon Saphire HD7750. Some would even post videos on youtube on how to do it. Do you think it would be a good idea as well? is it worth it?

Solution
1. faster ram...
APU extremely needed of faster ram, because this integrated graphic bandwidth depend on your system memory...
well, at 1600Mhz, it's starving..
you'll notice a frame boost with upgrade your memory to faster model...

2. Operating system..with 32 bit OS, your system limited to 4gb memory. upgrade to 64 bit, and add more ram to at least 8gb in dual channel..

3.About discrete graphic card..
well, right, you can pair your current igp with hd 7750. and add 20%-30% muscle to 7750 if you pair it in crossfire mode with your igp..in very optimize cf game, exp: tomb raider, you'll get a very nice performance boost..

4. SSD, well, a SSD will be a nice upgrade to..

Thank you so much for your answers! That helps a lot! though I have some more questions regarding what you have said about the RAM. Since I have 1600Mhz and I have another slot for RAM, will it be alright for me to just plug in another RAM that is faster and has more capacity? just curious about what will happen if my mem cards are not identical. Also, am I really limited to 4Gb RAM since I only have 32 bit OS? is it not possible to upgrade without upgrading the OS? because if it's not possible, then that means upgrading my RAM might not be worth it.

As other people have said RAM. If your motherboard supports it you could go into bios and set the ram frequency to 1866 for a boost.
Also, a 64 bit operating system could help aswell.
