Hi,

I have a Coolermaster Silent Pro Gold 800w PSU. It has 3 seperate cables with each a PCI-e 6-pin and PCI-e 6+2 pin. (one coming out of the PSU itself with a yellow color and its label 12v GND) Now I'm a bit confused, can I use one cable to connect my GTX780ti card (one 8-pin and one 6-pin connections needed), or do I need to use 2 seperate cables?
Also what does 12v GND means? Can I connect this to a GTX 780ti. This is the link of my PSU.

You can use any combination of PCIe aux cables you want to feed your card, as long as all headers on the card are populated. They all come off the same +12V rail.

The +12v GND is referring to the fact that the circuit consists of a +12V leg and a ground leg. It probably would have made more sense if they would have stated +12V/GND. The colored wires in the cable are the +12V and the black wires in the cable are the Chassis Ground.

So is it safe to connect the 12v/GND to my video card?

If these are the cables from your PSU, yes. The PCIe cables should be 6+2 pin cables that will only fit the card. And only in one direction.
