I am going to build tomorrow, having received the last of my Black Friday purchased parts yesterday, and have a question. I have 4 Corsair AF120 fans which I got on a really good deal, and a Hyper 212 Evo on an i5 4670k. My question is which would be better: two AF120's on the Evo, the stock by itself with the AF's mounted on my case (NZXT Phantom 530) or the stock and a AF120 with the other AF mounted on my case. The rest of my setup is a Gigabyte GTX 770, MSI G45, and as far as fans, I have a 200mm NZXT fan in the front, a 140mm in the back, and the other two AF120's which I will probably mount 1 in the top and one in the bottom.

Corsair SP fans were DESIGNED for radiators AND heatsinks. But if you must choose, I would go with the stock CM fan.

I will not recommend Corsair AF Fans, as they were designed for air flow instead of static pressure. Air flow is useless when it cannot push through a heatsink. I would use Corsair SP 120 high performance fans instead. They have less air flow, but can actually push it through the heatsink.

I realize that SP fans are far better than AF fans for pushing air through a cooler, but I'm not going to go out and drop yet another $30 on fans when I'm going to be watercooling next summer anyways. My question is out of my available options, which one is best: the AF fans or the stock CM fan?
