my laptop hang when i play any game

i have 2gb ram and 2nd generation laptop but when i run the game (e.g)need for speed ,gta san andrease it just stop working and hang

check in reliability monitor and see if there are any critical events, which would give you some idea as to why they are hanging and based on that information you can troubleshoot accordingly
