OK so Christmas is coming up and I am looking for playing battlefield 4 and need for speed with my friends and I have a GTX 680 Superclocked Signature and was wondering is it worth it to buy another for SLI or wait till GTX 880. I only play on 1920x1080 at the moment on a 120hz monitor the BenQ XL2420T and might look into 3D gaming sometime. Please help me choose not sure what to do.

Specs:

GPU: GTX 680 2GB Superclocked Signature
CPU: Intel I7 2600k @ O.C 4.5GHz
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600
PSU: Antec CP-850 850 Watt
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN 3

Sincerely, Andrew Anderson

Solution
A gtx 680 is a very powerful card. I would say wait.
If it isnt up to what you want you can SLI later, but it would run it well in my opinion.

I tihnk im going to try and snatch a 680 for like 300 on bid right now. I think if im going to upgrade i would rather wait for 2nd series of maxwell which is 900 for them to fix all problems. Because the 780 is better than 680 by alot and im dont know if i want to buy new chip when first comes out let nvidia fixx flaws they have.
