GPU for GW2 at 1080p?

Solution
I guess it depends on your definition of inexpensive. A 7870 should do just fine for you, if you can find one, if not a 270x is a slightly better choice, albeit more expensive. A 660ti should also get the job done. You can max the game out with weaker cards, but these card will get you pretty solid frame-rates while doing it.

I don't live in the US and the shop I'm buying the components from does not sell either the 7870 or the 660. They do sell the 270x, though I was thinking of purchasing the Asus R9 270 (without the x). Reason being the price difference is about $60 for a difference of 220MHz only, if I'm not mistaken. What do you think?

Hmmm I must have read some false benchmarks. But if that's true, that damn that's a value....5% less performance for $60 less is pretty amazing.
