Hi,

I'm new to this site, and I'm looking for a graphics card/power supply that will work on my Dell Inspiron 660. I recently purchased this computer 6 months ago, on a budget... Now that the holiday season is around, I once again have a certain budget for computer upgrades.

Let's get started, with some specs on my pc:

Intel i5-3340 (6M Cache, up to 3.3 GHz)
Intel HD Graphics 2500
8GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
1TB Hard Drive, 7200mm
(Please note, I'm using a single monitor at 1080p resolution through VGA)

Now, the games I'd like to play are the following, at med-high settings and achieve atleast 60FPS:

Minecraft
BattleField 3
Grand Theft Auto IV
Counter Strike Source
Garry's Mod
Call of Duty Ghosts

My current budget, is 300$ which includes the power supply/video card. I'm very knowledgeable with computers, but this is my first time I'm in need of a new graphics card. I'm looking for something that's from a reliable brand. Something that will last me atleast 5 years, and doesn't overheat easily. Like I mentioned earlier, the main games I will be playing are Minecraft, Call of Duty Ghosts, Battlefield 4. I'd like to play on Maxed out settings, and get atleast 40+ FPS. If I'm playing on medium-high settings, I'd like atleast 60FPS.

Just to thank the community in advance, and please leave a link to both the power supply and graphics card, and let me know approximately how many fps I'd be able to get on those games.

:)

with the pc off take a tape measure and measure the length from the back io ports to the hard drive bay. see if you have 10 inches or more in length for the gpu before it hits the hard drive bays. some cards are power from the top some from the rear. the rear cards need more length to fit the cables in.
